IRENE's a-comin'. . . there's trouble in sight. . . . .

Still early to tell for sure, but the Winds  are already messing up planes from JFK. . . .(Stew sent  us that 'un. . .lol )  No one is exactly sure just here. . . BUT  IRENE is a comin'. . . .

In a way Peter and I kinda wish we were home. . . there's always excitement, but we are better off here, miles away, maybe on the Western fringe. . .maybe . . .but  out of trouble and not in the way. . .
LOL

According to the census, Provincetown is #1 for same sex marriages. And now hurricane Irene is headed that way. Now what do you reckon Bachmann, Perry & Co will make of that?

Uhh... i'm on the western fringe. No way you are! Anyhow, this one looks like double-trouble, buzzsawing up the east coast.

On the way up here to college George and I heard that the Delaware and Maryland coastal resorts were being evacuated. We left Rehoboth just in time!

I'm not the kind of person to pry, so I'll leave it to someone else to ask who George is.

Banister and George. What a great title for a movie.

Oh, you're welcome. I thought you could use a preview. We do have the experimental weather control equipt. here.

My niece and her husband have already been evacuated in S.Carolina. He's a nuclear engineer, they closed up shop and went home!

Awful hot here tonight, , ,heavy, high humidity. . .you that feeling before a storm. . .pre-mischief environment. . . ;-))

Be a while before Ms Irene lands on us, like Sunday-ish. . .if the current heat, humidity keeps building our sinuses and nasals will be ready to explode. . .. eeewwwwwwie!

The creatures of the night are very noisy out there in the bushes. . waiting and lurking for the signal to attack. . . .[by 'creatures of the night' I do not mean the new men on campus jockeying for positions, status, etc. .. I mean the summer insects and crickets and vicious buglets like that. . .LOL

I was working this afternoon in the office I share with a couple of adjunct profs. . . .HEY> WHOOOAAAA. . .just hit me. . I am an adjunct prof on the faculty this year.. . not just a TA. . .WOWZZER. . .neat..;-))

I was working and trio of new guys were roaming around. . checking out the locales for psych classes. . turns out I have all 3 of them in my class. . .all 3 appear to be 'famiglia'. . if my gadar is honing in correctly.

and I just got a semi-craving to re-watch AVATAR. . .with the blue tails. . .sexy suits. . .hahahaa

But what follows that current storm is amazing sun-rises and sun-sets. Right now the sun is lighting up the underside of the low clouds. It appears that the whole eastern horizon is aflame with beautiful beams of light reaching out to welcome another day.

Enjoy!

Yes. Banister and George LLC is a firm practicing in the bedroom, and they are of counsel to the Washington firm Lyeh, Cheete and Swyndelle, advisors to The Congress.

Stew, remember the old nautical saying, "Red sky at night, sailor's delight. Red sky at morning, sailor take warning."
